SUMMER ART WORKSHOP

 

As a tutor of Sutton Art Studio I welcome students aged 8-14yrs wanting to explore themselves starting this July summer holidays in my studio, 55A Palmerston Road Sutton SM1 4QL 

20-24 July  - 11am -1pm

27-31 July - 11am - 1pm

£30 for 2 hours each day

I am thrilled with the progress of my kids who started in November 2024. From doing random artwork to lino prints, portraiture they have shown a very steady progress.

My new students enjoy trying something they wouldn't have on their own. I push them to stretch their boundaries and try something out of their comfort zone. They start a bit unsure, in the process feel tired timing themselves to finish within 1 hour but once they complete a project each session that brings a smile to their faces & parents.

Their feeling of achievement is what keeps me going & wanting to transfer whatever little I know.

I enjoy teaching the younger ones and the teens bring in a different sense of challenge for me as a tutor. They push me instead to practise and come up with an idea that would not only brush their skills, unlearn some things but also be useful to textiles or art in GCSE.
